Some reflections while having a cold and not able to participate daily routine

After my glorious feeling of the last yoga session, I am in a down period. My body (and of course my mind) had to adapt to a lot of changes these last 15 days. The preparation of the trip, the long trip itself, the change of climate, the change of food, the change of daily routine and the use of muscles that you did not be aware that you had them. So my mind went into a glorious feeling of : hey, this is nice, it is not perfect but I actualy can do this. And my body responded to this positive impulse and started to release a lot of acumulated toxins. So now I am confined to my bedroom, sneezing and feeling feverish. It gives me time to really tune into these new routines, scraping away old layers. Yesterday I was 'out' and sleeping almost all day. Today I find myself swinging around my legs in my bed (didn't know I would get addicted to yoga that quickly) Tomorrow is a day off, so my body will have another day of rest, but I will use it to go to Pallolim to see an Ayurvedic doctor and also I have a meeting in private with Bhagavan. So tomorrow is a real promising day.

I only just found out that Bhagavan or Bhagwan is not a name, but a title: Like many people I asociated this with Osho, like one of his names. But in fact it means the same as Lama. And a Lama is a person who has studied the scriptures.

The satsangs or evening lectures are all about the true meaning of all this terminology and these symbols. What are the influences of the last centuries that have been misinterpreting these terminology and what are the (nefast) results of these influences for humanity and its way of thinking like it is today. So in these few evening classes, Müller, Kant, Schopenhauer, Freud, Jung, feminism, definitions of all kind of religious aspects, are being explained and discussed. Once you are aware of the influences of these people in the day to day conditioning of our lifes, you can go past it and try to understand the real meaning of the symbols that are used in the ancient texts. It is great : I never studied these filosophers and now I find out that I do not have to waste time in doing so. That it is better and faster to go to the roots with the correct decoding key in hand.

Another thing that I found that was great is : you don't have to sit up to meditate. There is no separation between yoga postures and meditation. It is not that first you do the asanas and then go and meditate. I have tried many times to meditate and I always found it imposible to sit in a comfortable way. Here the asanas are used to flow naturaly into meditation. Now, I can lie down in shavasana or the death man's posture and relax so that meditation comes almost automaticaly. I am sure that after 3 months the traditional meditation posture also will be more comfortable to me.
